Our Debt Scorecard

In this section we will be tracking our overall debt on a month-to-month basis.

This should motivate us, and inspire you, to keep on keeping on.

End of Dec 2025

We're getting some nice traction.

Since the previous month, we have managed to pay an extra R13k off our debt - thanks to bonuses from our employers.

Yet more proof that things can get better.

Have faith!!!

End of November 2025

Nothing major to report here.

We are successfully controlling our expenses and keeping them within budget..... and then some.

We have therefore managed to bring our debt down by another R6000.  That's a win in our books.

Let's keep on keeping on!

p.s. as mentioned in the "at the End of October" post, we'll soon be discussing ways to increase our income.

End of October 2025

Things are running according to plan.

We managed to bring down our debt by our monthly SURPLUS. Read all about the surplus in our blog post  D8 - The Surplus That's Going to Crush our Debt.

We realise, however, that to increase the rate of reducing our debt, we need another income stream - no matter how small. Soon we'll be adding posts to the category of Side Hustles.

End of September 2025

Things keep getting better.

We managed to knock off another R9k of our total debt owed.

How:

Another correction on Sales Commission owed.

Things are looking up again. It just goes to show...never, ever give up hope. Your break can and will come, too.

Our August Debt Scorecard

End of August 2025

That's better!

We've managed to bring the debt down by R22k in one month.

Hmmm! So what changed?

There was a correction on Sales Commission owed. This helped nicely to put us back on track.

Miracles can (and do) happen !!

End of July 2025

This is life! Compared to the previous month (below) - what happened? A series of unforeseen emergency events made us go backwards by R3000.

But this won't deter us. We are determined to fight back.

We've got this!
